Corruption a drag or a blessing?

'Take a picture of your house with you in the picture'.

I wonder what other countries have such a requirement.

If any other country have this demand?? ... To show that you are still alive.. and that the missis is still collecting your pension and you are being dead??? I do not know about other countries. But in my coloured eyes, it seems to be quite smart in this "honest" world to check up of the guy is dead or alive one time each year.....

Tell me about your country.....

Any thing can be looked at from different points.

Corruption? What corruption? I need something done. I pay and get it done on the spot. Much easier and faster than in many other countries.

Only disagree with OP about 100 bt. Same thing for me is always 1000 bt. Have to revise my methods.

BTW, any Gov't in Thailand (past, present or future) trying to avoid corruption must first consider the Salaries issue.

If you want Police, Gov't officials etc. to be honest and not to take bribes you must use carrot and stick.

Pay them for the honesty enough in the first place.

As it is today the terrible curse on any Thai: " may you live on salary only! "
