The men in the right side photo are 2 of the arrested and allegedly "men in black". The men in the left side photo are PDRC guards.

LOL!!

Oh dear, the UDD's Cyber Warriors Red Crayon Brigade, Panthip Division, is back again.

True, but on the bright side they are finally admitting that there were men in black. By defending them they acknowledge that they were on the red team. So all the years of ridiculous posts about black shirts being the military or Democrats can now be ignored. Thanks for the confession guys.

Was there ever any doubt they existed ? It was obvious they not only existed but were the "elite" of the redshirt terror campaign back when the red supporters on TVF said they did not exist.

well, I have to say that on this point I agree with you completely. There was never any doubt that they existed. For certain they existed.

Beyond that, I am not sure that they were responsible for all of the amazing feats which have been attributed to these elusive bogeymen.

doesn't matter if you think HRW are a bunch of liberal tree hugging dickweeds, they have stopped extraditions, by scum, who would barely pass as human, to other countries, so dismiss them all you want, but some Governments take heed of what they say and do.

AI and HRW are like the UN, a waste of oxygen, but they're there, and they ain't going away anytime soon, so no point in whining like an 8 year old school kid, they're here to stay, and they can make things very difficult when people and countries who signed up to the treaty start falling by the way side.

Now lets get back to the issue, does anyone stupidly think for one minute Thaksin's name is going to be on any incriminating documents, such as Invoices for weapons, personnel, etc? Its wishful thinking nothing more.

Promised a million and gotten 100,000. Seems even the middleman was corrupt. Strong shina smell there. Especially when the boys were trained in Cambodia.

I believe the hired red shirt goons were shorted about two weeks pay also. There are times when Thaksin cares little how much some thing costs him if he thinks it will benefit him. Where as if he finds out it won't he spends nothing and expects his workers to keep on working for him. The man has no consideration for the poor if he gives them a baht he will get 5 baht back for it.

Since we are in a military rule right now they should offer these men a life in prison for their info or a firing squad if they dont talk. They have already as much as admitted their guilt in their demands. So a firing squad would not be out of order

Yes it all seems strange to me that they have to ask for permission to hold them a little longer.

They have demonstrated what and how they did it plus confessed to it. What more proof do we need?

With all these recent captures and intelligence that has been gathered it makes me think that they will act on the mastermind and supporters fairly quickly (within next 30 days ).

I would also think that most other countries will give support for extradition requests especially in todays climate of terrorism around the world.

Maybe stopping their private planes would also help if the masterminds have them.

I am sure they must be starting to get very worried and will no longer be able to hide behind lies false accusation or lawyers such as amsterdam.

Seems to me I read some where that yesterday Thaksin's son was posting his dad would be back in three days. Seems like a strange thing to say to me. I know Thaksin is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I doubt no matter what kind of deal he could make that he would come back voluntarily. He knows no matter how he gets here some one will send him to his next incarnation.

What part of this Democrat MP/PDRC member ethics doesn't quite compute with some of you? He was in a position, and not just a lowly pencil pusher, but a senior position within the GOVERNMENT of the time to actually do something about this, but he sent self confessed MIB's away as their asking price was too much?

So someone confesses to commiting a murder to you, but you decide it's not worth reporting as you didn't know the victim? Is this the sort of same logic that you're seeing here?

That MP was in a position to do something, but instead decided to dismiss potential killers ????

There's a very prominent poster who keeps harping on an on about PTP Logic, well what is seen here beggers belief , maybe this is just DEMS Logic ??

Well I certainly can appreciate your reasoning and logic. Unfortunately I am one of those who likes to know the whole story.

Was their sufficient reason to believe the informers would be honest?

On the face of it I would think it was a great time to run a scam. Also who were these informers why were they not apprehended? Was there a third party go-between. If not why has the Democrat not come out with the names of the one's offering the information? To many loose threads here.

While we are on about it. What ever happened to that commission that was set up to follow the money? Was it still in affect when Yingluck took over? Or had Abhist shut it down?

Yeah lets just do away with trials and evidence then, the popcorn gunman did the same thing, confessed, re-enacted and then when it came down to his court hearing, retracted his confession and said it was made under duress.. but lets just do away with the legal stuff, they must be guilty beyond all reasonable doubt because some TVF members say they are. ?? whistling.gif

I'd much rather have all the evidence presented that was irrefutable, and then try them in a court of law, and find them guilty, remember there's no Juries in Thai courts either, so making trials fair and impartial comes right down to whether the Judge got noshed off my his mai noi that morning or not that starts his day off on a positive note.

The Thai Judicial system is one of, if not the prime area that needs urgent reform, far more than the education reforms, 15 years for picking mushrooms, but yet the red bull heir cannot be brought to justice, 15 years for possesion of a minuscule amount of cocaine, and yet Jutaporn and other shytbirds of the UDD can walk about with suspended sentences. ??

Yeah what proof do we need indeed John?

Are you referring to AMLO? Although Thaksin used it to go after members of the media, it's primary use is to track funds being used by those laundering money.

That's not even open to doubt and even the losers at the last election (ie Democrats) don't bother denying it.Since the views of the Thai people as expressed in a general election cannot be relied on, other routes to power had to be explored.

I suppose if you take out the intimidation aimed at some of the candidates who were opposed to the PTP and dared to campaign in red areas, and the openly paid for votes, then sure they were "free and fair " elections. clap2.gif

Take up your reservations with Khun Abhisit since you presumably have evidence to prove he is wrong.Perhaps your wife's friends again?

No I believe that Abhist had set up a commission to strictly trace the money behind the red shirt and black shirt failed coup. We know where the money came from but who were the intermediates. From what I can remember of it there was very little said about it in the way of results.

There is no such thing as irrefutable evidence. North America has discovered that many of the people convicted with it were innocent. I don't have that big a problem with the judicial system. It is in the same state as the American one.

People out side the system setting jail time. Yes it could do with some changes but nothing serious.

The red bull heir is not in the country he is like Thaksin. The decision to not make agreements with other countries for the extradition of criminals is not a Judicial one. Hope fully the new government does not waste to much time with the judicial system but goes after the out side issues that are to a degree tying it's hands.

'Thaworn served as deputy interior minister during the government's tenure.' (Abhisit Vejjajiva's)

and

'Thaworn was also a leader of the People's Democratic Reform Committee'

so obviously I believe every word

Maybe the Nation should use the byline, POLITICAL VIOLENCE VENGENCE

"Thaworn served as deputy interior minister during the government's tenure.' (Abhisit Vejjajiva's)

What is wrong with this?

Ahh - I understand he is not a redshirt, so you don't want to believe him

why would you consider someone like that a reliable source when you don't consider PTP a reliable source regarding denials of the existence of the black shirts?

It's hard to consider PTP a reliable source when they've been caught lying so often about so many things, claim it's ok for government ministers to lie and add that lying is ethical.

They have a track record for making contradictory statements and their leader is a convicted criminal fugitive with 15 more serious outstanding charges in court.

Hard to consider many less reliable than PTP.

Yes, PTP can't possibly be responsible for the actions of every citizen can they? If outraged citizens intimidate, in even murder, any who dare have the audacity to stand in an election against PTP or any Thakisn puppet party candidate, that doesn't mean PTP are responsible or even aware of it.

If local populations decide democratically they want to show solidarity and all vote for the latest Shin power vehicle, then that's there democratic right to make sure everyone toes the line.

They are clever in the way the do it. If Jayboy actually lived in Thailand, and investigated how it works he may be surprised. But that would be counter to the believe in Thaksin's infallibility and we can't have that now.

Its not about Thaksin v Dems , or Red v Yellow , its all about maintaining the status quo. The ' elite ' are untouchable and will remain so , doesn't matter how corrupt or criminal they are or have been in the past. Thai ' rules ' are in place and they wont change any time soon , thinking otherwise is wishful or perhaps delusional.

Northern John

You say that Thaksin ' is not the sharpest knife in the box ' . Well how many billions have you made in the last decade , how many countries have you controled ?

I think the man is a nightmare , and have probably been saying so longer than most here , but stupid he most definitely is not.

Funny, in the photo, non of the perps, ( who were effectively armed terrorists), who have all confessed are in cuffs or leg irons. With the jail time they are facing a break for freedom would be a dead cert I would have thought.

Well two of them can be seen and they are cuffed. The others you can't see.

"The Democrat politician said he rejected the offer, as the requested sum was too high."

This clearly infers that, had the 'demand' been lower; the authorities would have paid for this information to these killers ? ? ? ?

He said they had told him that those who hired them promised a car and Bt1 million cash for each of them after they completed their operation. However, they each ended up being paid only Bt100,000 after finishing work.

Now: WHO does THAT sound like ? ? ? ? - They have (unwittingly) already answered the big question, haven't they ? !

I am certain that full written confessions are forthcoming within a very short period of time . . . . . . . . . . .
