Question about miss directed package to Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am new here and apologize if I posted this in the wrong forum.

I have purchased 2 vinyl records from discogs and was sent to me via USPS with tracking.

It is supposed to be delivered to Hong Kong but it somehow ended in Thailand (not sure if it is a detour or something else) However, there has not been any tracking update since the 8th.

I am wondering if the package will be redirected to Hong Kong or back to the seller? Also, how long does it usually take for a package that is miss mailed to Thailand back to the actual destination?

Best Regards,

You will get your package within 2 weeks.

It is almost 2 weeks (The package was mailed on the 27th August and arrived to Thailand by mistake on the 8th September...) but the status still have not update... Will it be a possibility of it having take more than 2 weeks?

Also, I am fear the package may be possibly confiscated by the custom or in one of the post office in Thailand....

What should I do? :(

You could try sending an email to Thai Post, be sure to include the tracking number and a copy & paste of the arrival notice in Thailand.

Thanks Mac,

I actually wrote an inquiry letter in english and have someone translated it in Thai. Hopefully I get a response soon.

Just curious, how long does it usually take for One of the ThaiPost staff to reply to email?

Thanks.
