American Doctor in Bangkok who has licensed to practice in the United States

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of an American Doctor in Bangkok that has a license to practice in the United States. The reason for this is I am looking for a doctor who can write prescriptions for me which I can get filled for free from Express Scripts and mailed to me at my APO address. A Cardiologist would be great.

I don't know of one, but don't eliminate the possibility of a Thai doctor trained and licensed in the US. One of the reasons that Thailand has good medical care is many doctors went to medical school and did internships in Western countries including the US.

Yes I know I had one but his license expired. This is what I found with a few Thai doctors who at one time did have a license. But they have to be renewed ever so often.

Try Dr. Nick Walters at Mission Hospital. Not a cardiologist but a specialist in Family Medicine, and an American. I presume (but don't know for certain) that he has retained his U.S. licensure.

Thank you Sheryl. I just emailed him. Will post results when he replies.
