PATTAYA:--Monday’s overnight rain played dominos with power poles in Naklua after a tree collapsed and fell into electrical lines.

The ground weakened by the downpour, the huge tree on Soi Pothisan 3 fell around 5 a.m. Its branches caught wires of one electrical pole and the force pulled down three others.

Alarmed neighbors jolted awake by the clamor called authorities, who informed both the Provincial Electrical Authority and city hall.
