For a 2nd Visitor Visa should I include all relationship evidence from the 1st application?

Hi,

Just a quick question...

For our first (successful) Visitor Visa I included quite a bit of information to back up our relationship, pages of photographs from visits, emails, phone records (Skype & Rebtel), Facebook, Bank Transfers etc. It added quite a bit of bulk to the application!

I'm now applying for our second Visitor Visa and I'm wondering if it would just be too much to include everything from the 1st application plus everything since the first application. I'm thinking of just giving a summary in the sponsor letter of information included in the first, why I'm not including it this time (to make the application a little lighter for the ECO), and my assumption that the information was accepted as true the first time round.

Thoughts? Better to include it and be safe rather than sorry?

Joe.

She should treat the second application as a totally new application with sufficient evidence to satisfy the ECO that the visit is genuine, affordable and that she's likely to return, don't leave anything to chance.

By all means she should refer to the previous application as evidence that she has complied with a previous visa, the ECO wouldn't routinely dig out the supporting evidence from the previous trip.

How long ago was the previous trip, if it's too recent applicants can fail on the reasons to return if they are using employment as a reason, with a very quick follow trip.

If the previous visa was a while ago, she should probably consider submitting evidence since her last visit, and details of the last visit.

You say "you are applying for our second visa", not wishing to split hairs but you're not applying for anything, the applicant is applying for a visa and it's they who have to satisfy the ECO.

Thank you for the reply, to be safe I will include the information from the first application & be mindful in the documentation that it is her application :). The previous application was in March 2012 so there is a decent gap between the two! We've been physically together in Asia for the last 15 months so I'm hoping that helps things along!
