As we all know it is getting much more difficult or impossible to stay longer then a few months every year in Thailand with tourist visas and also ED visa regulation are getting much more strict. How about the Non-O visa runners who does not fulfill the minimum financial requirements for a 1 year extension and forced to do the 90 days + 60 days visit thing? Is this also something which immigration could consider as loophole or is it okay because you have a family in Thailand?

Actually it is not much more difficult, people with ED or tourist visa are still doing it but ED extension now need a new visa every year.

There are no reports about problems with non-imm 'O". It is not a loophole it is something that law and regulations allow.
