Hi,

Are they still doing stringent checks at customs in the hope you bring in over your allowance so that you can get scammed by Thai immigration?

I have been stopped so many times and never have anything illegal or that is over the limi on duty.

Nothing to do with visas to another country, or visas to Thailand.

I will move to the travel section, but it's worth pointing out that Immigration and Customs are two totally separate organisations, at least in Thailand.

    No, hardly ever happens.

    Where is the scam BTW, if you bring in over allowance you are fined.
