ask information

Featured Replies

Hi,my name is Max,just ask information,i m italian and i m married with a thai woman,do you know if i get a TR3 visa, turistic visa, for stay in Thailand(2months +1 month extension for 3 times)if the immigration make me problem or not?

Once you have obtained tourist visa, there is no problem.

But since you are married, you could obtain a non-imm 'O' visa valid for 90 days stay. It could also be multi-entry, valid for up to 15 months in country.

When in Thailand you can also obtain a 60 days, or one year extension of stay, based on the paperwork you can produce.

hi,thank you for your answer.I will go to thai consolate to apply for this Visa TR3,i spoke already many times with the Consolate and they guarantee me that this is the best Visa i can ask, only i hope don't get problem with the immigrations in Thailand ,because some friends told me that now they make problem to tourist for give the extension...what do you know about this?

As mentioned, when you have the visa you do not have further problems.

But the "best visa" for you is non-imm "O", multiple entry, no matter what the consulate says.

Thank you for your answer but i don't have 400000baht for show and so the best visa for me i think is Tourist Visa TR3

Not all consulates ask to show proof of funds for non-imm 'O'.

For example Savannkhet, Laos does not ask.

Neither on the website for the Thai embassy in Italy there is no mention of funds.
