September 30, 201411 yr Anybody know within Thailand where I might get a Sun Visor for my Toyota truck? A bit like this but does not have to be so fancy or so expensive In all the years I've never seen one here so don't hold out much hope but no harm in asking Want it try and cut out the reflection of the dash on the inside of the windscreen and washing out the reversing camera picture when the sun is at certain angles overhead. September 30, 201411 yr I don't think I have ever seen an external visor in Thailand. As above, dark tint on the top works ok
September 30, 201411 yr Extra wide dark film does the trick along the top of windscreen. Yep, Those things are only any good if the sun is overhead...
September 30, 201411 yr Daffy D try www.jim4x4.com Has an address Prawet Bangkok 10250 contact phone numbers for him on there as well, has this item listed on his site, let us know how you get on
October 1, 201411 yr Author I'm considering the "Extra wide dark film does the trick along the top of windscreen" I sit fairly high up and throwing my eye at the angles looks like the dark strip would have to be fairly slim. Just thought I'd check out the possibilities of an outside visor before doing anything. Thanks Dave the www.jim4x4.com site looks good but they don't list any prices That has got to make their stuff expensive. Same or similar visors on USA website priced about 300 USD and the riding light kit was an extra 90 USD. A bit expensive for me but I'll contact jim4x4 and see what kind of prices they quote. Thanks transam@ Those things are only any good if the sun is overhead... True but isn't that where it is most of the time
