Redshirt 'mascot' removed from LINE sticker store

Featured Replies

Somehow I fail to understand what Jatuporn's cancelled birthday party has to do with a red buffalo sticker blink.png

Anyway, with my ZXQ mobile I (obviously) don't use LINE. Is there anyone out here, who uses it and did have a quick look at other available stickers ?

Yes, I use it along with 400 million plus other users. An extensive range ( hundreds) of stickers available most of which are free.

I use it for many differing types of communication, very useful.

I've only watched some advertisements on Thai TV and looked over the shoulders of Thai happily chatting away while stuck in the BTS.

My question may have been phrased a bit unclear. What I meant and wanted to ask is in how far ONLY 'red buffaloes' are removed and if 'yellow cockroaches' are acceptable. Are there any possibly Thai politically influenced stickers of any colour?

If yes, please show, if none then it would become more 'obvious' why the 'red buffalo' had to go.

It doesn't how minor a matter is, or how stupid the plan, if something goes wrong for the reds it was someone else's fault. Usually a yellow, or a fake yellow, or a fake red.

Or,

it doesn't matter how minor a thing it is or how silly it might be, if it is about red shirts then it must be banned.

I didn't realise Line was owned by Thais

I am not a fan or supporter of red shirts, but

Originally, red buffalo (kwai daeng) was a nickname used to insult supporters of the Redshirt movement, as buffalos are considered a symbol of stupidity in Thai culture.

An apt description of Jatuporn for sure

It doesn't how minor a matter is, or how stupid the story, if something involves the red shirts, you can guarantee one of the usual suspects will write a post to try and make political capital out of it.

Classic example: the recent

It's fairly easy, rubl, what you have to do is to read the sentence before the link and then things will become clear - I'll give you a bit of help, the word "example" refers to the previous sentence, as in an example of posters trying to make political capital out of a minor matter. There, that wasn't so hard, was it?

Oh, wait a minute, that's not you doing your off topic thing is it?

Don't tell me you were trying to make a statement from which you hoped to make political capital? Stressing the faults you see in others while doing the same?

As for off topic, so far so good I'd say. We're still discussing 'red buffaloes'. That is as far as I understand of course rolleyes.gif

norstatin gave me an an eyeroll on the above quote.

He took out the words between 'red shirts' and 'but' ..... I think not correct to do that.

We are all getting "touchy, touchy" now aren't we.

Let it be!!!

Shall the Junta remove the red stripes from the Thai flag too as potential Red Shirt symbols?

It should be noted that it is the reds who are being accused of denigrating their own people with their stickers.

But then they always have been lost without Thaksin to think for them.

Also my question if there are 'obviously yellow' stickers went unanswered.
