Question regarding final exit (before last "admitted until") on 12 month multi-entry ED visa

Featured Replies

Good morning all,

I have a 12 month multi-entry ED visa. I first entered Thailand on this visa on 11 Jan 2014. I have been leaving and re-entering Thailand every 80-85 days throughout the year without issue.

The visa itself has a last "Enter Before" of 15 Dec 2014 (it was issued on 16 Dec 2013). My last entry stamp has an "Admitted Until" of 4 Dec 2014.

In light of the revised Immigration rules (see attached notice - specifically Point 3), and assuming that I do leave Thailand before the 4 Dec 2014, will my final re-entry be valid for the full 90 days or only until 11 Jan 2015 (ie. "shall not exceed one year from the date of entry into the Kingdom") as per Point 3.

Thanks in advance for any advice to those who are able to share.

Regards,

ptorphy.

The new rules are for extensions of stay not visas.

You will get another 90 day entry without a problem.

Thank you ubonjoe. I should have re-read the notice as it does say "for Visa Extension" at the top. In any case, I just wanted to double check.

Sorry - and thanks again!
