SjaakNL2013
The OP add nothing to the problem of stealing land. He don't name the resort and also don't give a list with resorts that are on stolen land. With other words... he/ she is a chicken and let the tourist do the work. If he/she was a real reporter then there would be a list with names, owners and people involved by stealing land. but no he/she just trow a stone in the water and then run away. We call people like this cowards instead of reporters.
rickirs
"Punish the illegal hotels, corrupt land department officials, district officials and local police who enable, promote, protect and obfuscate encroachment." This message is brought to you by the people that illegally overthrew the government, suspended the Constitution, and hold absolute power over their own created government. bangon04
what a dumb ass article, what they gonna do give us all a list where we can stay ? Personally, I always take the trouble to check the small print in the brochure, and if it says "This venue / product is created and funded on the back of illegal or immoral encroachment, corruption or slave labour", I give it a miss..... matman
I've never understood why, when having established a resort or hotel was built on goverment land with dodgy documentation supplied by an even dodgier 'official', that they proceed to tear them down, and thereby put any local employees out of a job and any income to local (legal) busness's is lost. Surely a far better Idea, especially as these 'resorts or hotel' are in highly desireable locations that by their very existance attract visitors and income. That they aren't taken wholley into 'state ownership' and run for the benefit of the local community, that way it ensures the local employees keep their jobs and any profits going towards the state coffers. Better than them being raised to the ground.
