Hard to watch. Sputtering, coughing attack. Kompany and Aguero missed, but I'd wager its the lack of Yaya that really hurts. It seems without him, City lacks spirit and grit. Also much easier to shut down Silva when Yaya is missing. Dzeko was miserable.

Agreed with MrB that Everton was the better side, though the overlooked in the area handball was ridiculous. What are the linesmen good for if they can't spot that ? Smelling their thumbs all game and playing with their flags. Maddening.annoyed.gif

You know you're in deep <deleted> when your best player over the last 15 minutes is Nasri.

Allways the case with City fans-greatest side in the world when they are winning-sack the manager when they,re not, lets face it you won the title last season by the narrowest of margins but defending it is allways more difficult,go back into your shells for another 36 years and look on in envy at what SAF is creating down the road whistling.gif

I say abandon your new youth only policy and buy the Premiership again next season.

I know smokes. And they wonder why ABU's are the fastest growing breed in the world. To be fair though, they're not all like this. And I bet a few of our mates on here are even cringing.

Tell you what smokes. This is what makes my blood boil over Mancini's style. There is no way he should be behaving like this.

Roberto Mancini flies home after Everton defeat?

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini reportedly flew back to Italy yesterday following his side's 2-0 defeat to Everton.

The Italian sought refuge in his homeland after the loss, and refused to speak to the media after the game, with City assistant David Platt claiming that he was "too angry" to answer question on his team's performance.

According to The Mirror, it is the second time in as many months that the former Inter Milan coach has headed for home following a defeat, after he did so after the loss to Southampton on February 9.

Who has said sack Mancini, numb nuts?

Certainly not the Blues on this forum, and certainly not the majority of the City fans who go and watch the club...... if you happen to listen to the choruses of "Mancini...............etc etc"

Again, its a typical Rag comment. Spout cr@p with no substance or truth in it.

But I guess what you are saying is that City will not win the League or another trophy for 36yrs.

If you believe that, then you do not understand football, or you are behaving that a typical 11yr old at school coming out with nonsensical remarks that do not make sense to anyone with even a semblance of common sensejerk.gif

Mate, how much of what you read in the papers is actually true?

Did he actually fly out?

Was it already pre-arranged?

The only thing I know for sure is he did not give a post match interview as he was too angry, and did not want to get into trouble by criticising the referee. Fairly reasonable IMHO.

I would rather reserve judgement and let the dust settle over the next couple of days, to see how much of this report is true, and what the circumstances are, surrounding it, if he did indeed fly to Italy

Jack i see you are blaming the referee again when really as YOU SAID you didn't deserve anything from the game.

The best thing for any United fan is if he stays he is a poor man manager and his tactics are very questionable to say the least,it is time you woke up and see that change is probably the best thing for City and its future progression.....as it is all i see is him sour faced and he does like to blame a lot of other people within the club for convenience.

That is not a red tinted view just the truth.I really think someone like Laudrup would do well for you.

I dont know what parts of my post you cant get?

We did not deserve to win the game. I have been very clear about that.

City should have had a penalty and played against 9 men for the last few minutes. I have been very clear about that.

The referee was diabolical. I have been very clear about that.

Re Mancini, as you know I am a fan. Who has he blamed, other than himself? I have heard him many times, blame himself. He blames Marwood, and I totally agree with him, for the summers debacle of transfer inactivity.

I totally refute the claims that he is something of tactical retard.. Since when has 3-5-2 not been operable? But for some reason, City seem to go to pieces everytime they use it.

The man- management side of him, I reluctantly have to somewhat concede. Even though I can see his ways, I just think that in todays day and age, with all the egos needing to be constantly massaged, that it does need a special type of man manager to keep everybody happy.

The last thing I want is the panic button pressed and Mancini getting sacked. I have lost count of the managers we have had over the years, most of them useless........ Mel Machin, Alan Ball, Frank Clarke, Horton, Coppell,,,,,,,, the list goes on!!!

The glory days of Big Mal and Joe Mercer were but a distant memory, until Mancini came along. Yes he had a truck load of money to do it with, but so did Mark Hughes and Erikksson!!

City need to take a deep breath. You cannot run before you walk. They have had a disappointing season, but we still have a chance of finishing 2nd and winning the FA Cup!!

We have built the foundations, I feel we need the patience now.

Sad, bitter Blues who have ruined their own club for the past 30/40 years because of the jealousy directed at the successfull club at the other side of town-Its not that long ago that the "Blue Mo(a)ners" were raining their season ticket books down at the Kippax end of Main Road or does your memory/support not go that far back whistling.gif

Where was this 'kippax end' then?

Platt Lane end, and North Stand were the 2 ends of the ground.

The Kippax ran the length of the groundjerk.gif. It wasnt an 'end'

Bit of a nonsense reply there mate because MrB is right. Very poor behaviour.

Strange thing is you have this p*ss poor petulant unsportsmanlike behaviour thats crept into the game but its being spearheaded by the two senior citizens of the managerial fraternity! A pair of old farts, Weger and Ferguson, that really should know better and be setting an example. Now Mancini's hopped on the petulant bandwagon.

Lets hope the younger up and comers ignore them and show some grace in defeat
