Yep definitely a penalty by Otamendi, looked the ref had a clear view of it so surprised he didn't give it.

The wife was going mental about the ref...thought he was poor...never rate him.

No Women At Football I think the abbreviation means BB

Actually when I googled it I saw No Women At Football. Personally I like kids and females at football.

I'd like to see him suggest that to Maria at Arsenal.

She'd fill him in.

Mr Red I assume you mean.

In 2016 alone, Aguero has scored 27 – eight more than any other player – and he’s netted 33 in his last 34 league appearances.

Now fourth in City’s all-time goalscoring charts. Two more goal are needed to beat Colin Bell’s record and move 3rd.

Tributes to former Manchester City defender Paul Futcher, who has died aged 60

Futcher was the most expensive defender in English football when he signed for City for £350,000 in 1978.

Played till he was 44.

And will he get nominated for player of the year!!

How Kun's never been picked in the Premier League XI is the biggest mystery.

yeah right!

See our Jason Denayer has had a few rave reviews recently for his surprising new role as midfield holding player. Saw him earlier in the season, couldn't work out if he was a continually out of position fullback or a lazy wingback. Not sure if Sunderland have used him in his main CB position. Seems to be talented but needs to establish himself somewhere.

No comments yet regarding the "alleged" poaching of two City academy scouts by their more famous neighbours :whistling:

Sad to read earlier about Paul Futcher,s death at just 60.....he had a brother Ron as I remember who also played for City back in the "dark times"

Yeah I read that the other day. It's not alleged but is true and City have now given pay rises and contracts to the others.

Man Utd expected teenager Yeboah Amankwah to sign for them permanently but he has now joined Manchester City.
South London-raised Amankwah, 16, joined United on trial in October and featured for the club's Under-16s but has switched to City.
It is understood United expected Amankwah to sign with them permanently but he instead joined City as a scholar.

Getting a bit nervous now. I know it's early in the season still but this is a big 6 pointer.

A month or so ago I would have said that Chelsea's defence (especially when playing a back 3) was dodgy but they have tightened up and aren't letting goals in easily. Our defence is still iffy, so it's going to be down to who's strikers are most clinical in taking their chances.

Looks like it'll be an attacking game! Both playing 3 at the back.:partytime2:

Interesting starting 11...Navas and Sane.

Bravo, Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Navas, Sane, Silva (C), De Bruyne, Aguero

Caballero, Zabaleta, Sagna, Clichy, Yaya Toure, Fernando, Iheanacho

Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill (c); Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard.

For once, City fans are delighted as a Navas cross once again finds an opposition defender with unerring accuracy!:clap2:

Oh dear.

truly appalling defence and a keeper who doesn't seem able to save anything even when it's relatively straight at him. then they lose the plot entirely at the end and lose their star striker for probably four matches. great needle by chelsea though, some excellent snidery in there.

game turned on that terrible miss by de bruyne. 2-0 then and you think that'd be it. 3 draws and a defeat in last 4 at home now. city are shaking.

Now that was funny Arab money 1 Russian money 3, two sending off and pep getting found out, City will not win the league with  as such a rubbish defence and a very average keeper.

City should have gone 2 up.
KDBs hit the crossbar was key moment.
City can't defend - teams that can't defend don't win championships.
Peps boob of the season is replacing Hart with Bravo.
Bravo has been at fault far too often.
Enjoyed watching Sane today, his best for us so far.
Aguero deserves a minimum 4 match ban - disgusted with him.
Fabregas slapped Fernandinho but no excuse for him losing his head.
Hazard was superb, dangerous all day and looks back to his best.
Our only forward banned and our best player this season/best midfield player banned.
A game to forget.
3D & 1L home sequence - Pep needs to sort out that defence quickly before the others are out of sight.

if aguero is banned for 4 matches he'll be back for anfield on new year's eve. damn.

well well well a bunch of bad looser's. MAN 1 CHELSEA 3, 55555555555555555555555

WHO GOT THE BLUE'S NOW.

Where's the bad loser. That's an honest account of how upto 60 minutes we were well in it and could have put it to bed but ultimately we weren't good enough, and as it stands, due to our poor defence n goalie we won't win the Premier unless Pep sorts that out.

Just read Pep said Agueros lunge was "not intentional”. Wrong.

Pep seemed to be losing it 2nd half with his sarcastic clapping of the ref. Pack it in.

Thought his subbing of Sane was wrong. Sane was decent, little came down his side (unlike when Clichy came on n was poor) and was more effective than Navas going forward.

Subbing Stones for the poorer Otamendi and Kolorov was very influential on the scoreline.

Pep seems to be saying we lost because we didn't finish, we didn't and it let Chelsea off, but he's kidding himself if he can't see that Stones apart the whole of the back 4 and goalie are the problem. Radical rethink needed there Pep.

BBC "Chelsea have the lowest number of changes in the Premier League this season, making just eight alterations to their starting line-up over the course of the campaign.City have made 46 changes to their starting XI this season, more than any other club.Chelsea look like a side based on stability and consistency. City a team still searching for their true identity." Can't argue with that, yes we have played 8 games more than Chelsea n Liverpool, but we never know who's going to be playing and what formation. Consistency is key.

Paid the price for not finishing with KdB the biggest miss of all.

Referee was extremely poor all afternoon and Luiz shouldn't have been on the pitch after 30 ish minutes

Chelsea took their opportunities well but Bravo should have done much better. I think every City fan has tried to get behind him but he is responsible for us dropping too many points now. Pep needs to bite the bullet and realise it was a bad signing. Never thought I'd say this but get Wobbly Willy in goal

Congrats Chelsea

Good to see Fabregas up to his usual sneeky antics, just a shame there wasn't a 15 foot drop on the other side of the hoardings,  despicable little man !
