Spot on. At the moment it is Mancini main players plus some Pellegrini player. Peps players are Gundogan (playing well till his injury), Stones (decent but prone to lapses...same as he was before we bought him), Bravo (mistake to date), Jesus (not yet arrived). Reportedly Pep wants another goalie (Willy will be off in the summer), 2 fullbacks, a centreback and a central midfielder. It takes time.

Takes time !!!! with your money it doesn't take long, probably a couple of hours so he could have bought them in the summer, stop making excuses for him :whistling::biggrin:

Man City consider Bacary Sagna appeal after another disproportionate punishment

Manchester City and Bacary Sagna are considering an appeal against a £40,000 FA fine for the player's misconduct.

The defender has been hit with the penalty after an Instagram post which inferred that Lee Mason's refereeing in the win over Burnley had made it “10 against 12” after the dismissal of Fernandinho.

Both City and the player are thought to be mulling over an appeal against the severity of the fine.

The club feels this is the latest in a series of cases in which their players have been disproportionately punished.

West Ham's Andy Carroll was let off with a warning after saying ref Jonathan Moss had decided to “even things up” by awarding a penalty against him in their draw at Leicester in April.

Then Chelsea' Gary Cahill tweeted “Unbelievable” and some angry face emojis after a post-match interview in which he said official Andre Marriner missed a foul at Swansea which someone “sat on the moon” would have spotted.

Pep was left a poor defence that he needs time to be rebuild - his one booboo to date is loaning out Hart

Those 2 mistakes and not strengthening the defence has killed our challenge this season.

Make up your mind BB  :saai:

From when Pep was appointed he had approx 6 month's to look at City's squad and carry out due diligence on the squad, surely he would have looked at the full back's and thought that they were all getting on, Kompany was also getting on and had suffered a few injuries over the last few years, watched video's and realized  Otamendi was a bit rash and  not really up to it, needed another def mid, etc etc.

So i don't go with this "it takes time" excuse, after all it didn't take time to sign the likes of Zane, Jesus, Gundogen and Bravo.

With the amount you're paying him, I doubt he gives much of a toss.

Its got to be worth a flutter on City hasn't it?

Mind you Pep might show more genius a play Zabaletta in midfield and if he does that its going to be a very long afternoon for City, what with their fullbacks that look more like lamposts.

It will be highly amusing to see them defend deep at home and try to catch us on the break.

16 Conclusions BEFORE Man City v Tottenham

Date published: Wednesday 18th January 2017 3:57

Pep-Guardiola-Mauricio-Pochettino.jpg

We decided not to include any more Russian stuff. It was all getting a bit Trumpy. Mail [email protected]

16 Conclusions BEFORE Man City v Tottenham
1. Tottenham are the form team in the Premier League.
2. Tottenham have rediscovered the vibe that made them almost unplayable at times last season.
3. Tottenham are getting back to full strength, with Dele Alli on fire, Harry Kane coming off a hat-trick and Christian Eriksen fully up to speed.
4. Tottenham have the two best wing-backs in the Premier League at present.
5. After ten straight wins at the start of the season, City have had a mid-table record at best ever since.
6. City have the worst record of any top-six team against the others.
7. City were so awful in the second half against Everton it’s hard to imagine them getting a result against Hull.
8. All the City defence needs replacing, except possibly Stones and he’s still prone to rash moves.
9. Guardiola has lost it so bad he is even playing Zabaleta in midfield. Zabaleta!
10. Tottenham not only ended Chelsea’s winning streak, they did so comfortably and with some panache.
11. Tottenham are consistently destroying decent teams, e.g. West Brom last weekend.
12. Tottenham concede very few goals and have the league’s best central defender in Toby Alderweireld.
13. Most pundits think Tottenham will win.
14. Tottenham won the fixture 2-1 last season.
15. Tottenham have already won the reverse fixture this season, handing a much more confident city a beating far more comprehensive than the 2-0 scoreline suggests.
16. Put £10 on City. Because it’s Tottenham and that’s what happens.

You’re welcome.

I think the plan is to not let you get within 30 yards of Bravo

With Fernandinho available maybe that would be possible.:whistling: Without him, a snowflakes chance in hell.

Will Delph start in midfield ? Remember the hubbub when we bought him from Villa ? He's only been sporadically seen since.

been a touch unfortunate with him almost since the day you bought him, seems he's been in  and out through injury, more out than in,,
