Hi !

Is it possible to get a work permit if i am employed by a company outside thailand, they pay my salary and taxes in my home country, i will investigate the potential for the company in Thailand, what is the best way for doing this ? Do i need to pay income tax in Thailand too ?

No, you cannot get a work permit, except it is some special as e.g. jounalist.
