I think I read someone entered on an ED visa and changed extension of stay to marriage and could get a work permit. (Working prohibited to able to get work permit)

If enter on a Non-b and my contract finishes and over 50 and seasoned money can I change to extension based on retirement.

If later find a job can I apply for work permit and change to non-b again?

All without leaving bkk?

Some allow working and some prohibit working(ed and retirement).

Tourist visa can be converted to non-b in bkk.

You can go from an extension of stay based upon working (it is not a B visa) to one based upon retirement.

But going from retirement to working you would probably have go out for a tourist visa in order to apply for a work permit. Most work permit offices would not accept an extension based upon retirement for the application.
