Probably save lives and property damage having more cops on the road to stop drunk driving foreigners and Thais. Isn't like the leading cause of death among foreigners vehicle accident with the majority involving alcohol and/or failure to wear a helmet on a bike?

Holiday makers who aren't motorcyclists have never ridden scooters before hiring them out and losing all sense of reality. I've seen young holiday makers hire scooters, shoot out of the shop, across the road, up the kerb and end up in strange positions in the hedge before.

Another involving quads. Young Taiwanese lad. Out of the hire shop, across the road, up the kerb and straight up a tree! It was quite an amazing gravity defying feat.

Been a bike rider all my life but have never been on a quad but everyone tells me they are more dangerous. Kind of sad too because I think people rent them on islands and other places because they think they are safer. I see people driving getting on two wheels taking turns ... not meaning too. When they are standing still they look safer but when I see them move they look like they can flip very easily.
