Anyone to help please. Toyota CNX are like BMW, just a total rip off. i would like to possible find a mechanic who does good reliable work on Hybrid Toyotas and if possible BMW's, without emptying my pockets and more, someone who fixes things instead of the easy 'get a new one' when possible.

I have a Toyota hybrid but I am very wary of getting it repaired outside of the Toyota network. One Toyota dealer close to the airport I found very close to your description but they all seem to want to change parts. I have only had an air conditioning fan break in my 140,000 kms and I went elsewhere for its repair after being quoted a very high 'new parts' charge by that Toyota dealer. In fact both of the parts quoted were fine and it was just a fan. Now I think I will let Toyota service and deal with anything linked to the hybrid system but I doubt I'll let them fix anything else.
