Hi

I understand that the 30 day entry stamp that one recieves when flying to Thailand,

may now be extended to 60 days.

If this is true then how does one go about extending for the extra 30 days and is

there any cost involved?

Thanks

To be more precise, you need to go to an immigration office to apply for the extension. You need:

1. A completed TM7 form - requires 1, 4cm x 6cm, picture.

2. Copies of the bio page of your passport, the page with the current entry stamp and the TM6 departure card.

3. 1900 baht.

And travel expenses to get to the office.

In Bangkok there is only the immigration office at Chaeng Wattana that you can use.
