I have a 5 year old son (Thai mother) that lives with me and we are in China now. I am now divorced by court order and was given 100% control of his education by Thai Family Court. What visa can I get to come back into Thailand?

If you have residency in China you could get a non-o visa based upon being the parent of Thai.

You will need your child's birth certificate, house book and/or their Thai passport.

I have his birth certificate, Thai passport, (he is in China on a Canadian passport) and all court documents that sat I control education.

His Thai passport should be enough. They just want proof his birth is registered in Thailand. You should contact the embassy or one of the consulates to confirm what they want.

You can find the links to the websites for the embassy and consulates in China here. http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/

He is Thai, but I am Canadian so what visa would I be applying for. Non-O?

You would be applying for a non immigrant O visa based upon being the parent of a Thai child.

Thanks for all the advice. Would I have to show any financial information or just his Thai passport, Thai birth certificate and divorce certificate and court documents that say I control his education?

Do you know how long it usually takes to get the visa issued? I know everywhere is different and I will go to Beijing.
