Have you ever taken some time out and noticed that most homeless guys are single? You aren't going to get laid or married with no money in your wallet. In the US, I can't get one single woman to give me the time of day. Everything changes the second I leave the country. The guys in farangland, they aren't getting laid, they're not getting married. Check out the statistics, marriage rates are in decline. I see all kinds of guys coming to Thailand as virgins(because they can't get laid) and to find a wife for marriage. Things are not easy in the West anymore. We have aging women(due to demographics), obesity, and there are simply not enough young, marriable ladies to go around anymore. At least not in the area I'm from. It's a sausage fest in some places! I can think of quite a few times where it wasn't about money, you meet someone, you like each other, you go back to someones place. Now marriage? Yeah, a girl is going to consider her future with you so money comes into play but a man should consider that about his future as well. My girlfriend here is educated with a masters degree, speaks English, Thai & Japanese, has traveled the world and never asks me for a penny. I make significantly more than her but it changes nothing with her attitude towards me. She even has told her parents many times that if she gets married to me, she doesn't want me to pay sinsod. There are some men considered handsome even at 70 years of age whereas others at 40 are unattractive. Then, you also have behavioral and intellectual characteristics that can affect the quality and compatibility of your shared time - who takes care of whom.. There's also considerations of present and future value for both parties - will you or her be broke or obese in a few years, separation or divorce/death settlements, etc...the "long game." By the completion of all factors, she could end up having to pay you. However, if after all the analysis, you don't want to give her the 1000 baht multiplier, but choose -0-, then it's irrelevant or a 'free' GF . In our dreams.
