Sea of fog and blooming flowers attract tourists to Phu Soi Dao

BANGKOK, 23 October 2014 (NNT) – Tourists are converging on the Phu Soi Dao National Park in the northern province of Uttaradit to enjoy the cool weather and blooming wild flowers.

Uttaradit meteorological officer Anurak Uea-anuwong said the weather in Ban Khok district was cool to cold with the lowest temperature of 14 degrees Celsius on hilltops. 100% humidity created a beautiful sea of fog on Phu Soi Dao mountain. Mr. Anurak added that winter this year would be colder than previous years and suggested people, especially the elderly and children, take a good care of their health.

Motorists using Sai Nam Pad-Ban Khok road in Uttaradit are driving more carefully by decreasing their speed and turning on the fog light when driving in fog.

PM orders 20 ministries to deploy officials to man complaint centre

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed the 20 ministries to deploy officials to man the complaints receiving centre at the Government House starting Monday, PM's Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul said Sunday.

The officials must be the ones with enough authority to make decisions, Panadda said.
