BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered 20 ministries to send knowledgeable officials with decision-making power to station at the Government House's complaint centre and begin working Monday in his effort to speed up problem solving for the troubled people.

Government spokesman Maj Gen Sunsern Kaewkumnerd said the prime minister’s order to 20 ministries to send their officials to station at the complaint centre was in respond to problems faced by the public in a more timely and efficient manner.

He also instructed that the centre will act and perform as a One- Stop-Service centre when it is stationed with authorities who have knowledge and can make decision.

Prime Minister’s Office permanent secretary M.L. Panada Disakul said since May 22 to October 16, nearly 82,000 complaints were filed via the Hotline number 1111 at the Office of the Permanent Secretary.

Out of these complaints, over 87% have been resolved while the remaining 12 % are still being sorted out, said the government spokesman.

He said the remaining unsolved problems are mostly relevant to land disputes which have yet to take time.

Wonder if they would accept my complaint about a non-elected government running the country??

Or would the "speedy problem solving" mean an escort to the airport??w00t.gif

JOC take a look at your post and try to tell me you are a reasonable good thinking guy. No matter what the PM does your going to make snide comments so negative your unbelievable.

Complaint center ??? after all the propaganda posters are saying about freedom of speech ?? and here we are -the PM setting up centers for problems.

So now we have to go to a special center to enjoy the freedom of speech??

All under the watchfull eye of the army!!whistling.gif

Wanting to return to an elected government. Nothing unreasonable about that.

Coming from a democratic country, and supporting tyranny in a country where you are only a guest. Is that reasonable?

How many times doe's one have to mention that elected in Thailand does NOT mean democracy. Your want will have to wait now until another year----SO in the mean time how about blaming the PTP for running a government elected but not governing as sworn to do on oath.

Old hat post---nothing new here---expect no optimism.

You said it! Member since 2010?

I wonder how long you've really lived here (4 years maybe), because you assume low-volume posters, or new posters, are all new to Thailand, and new to everything. I bet you speak little Thai to be honest, and think you're the bees-knees for having lived here maybe 4 years or so, give or take a year or two.

Those of us who have lived here for over 10 years, or 15 years and longer, have a clearer understanding of 'no optimisim' being effluenced from the current Junta, who we all laid hope with - but nothing has changed from the last to the current coups. The PM is foolhardy, believing that he has the answers to every question on the planet - and you seem to be in full support of such.

I was never in support, for your info, of the previous coups nor the S-Clan, but neither, now, am I in support of the current self-elected PM. He goes from shivalry to complete BS on a daily basis - and it continues to get worse. The guy hasn't a clue.. it's as simple as that, and neither have his classmates he installed from years ago to pillage and rape for same-self-benefits - same as Thaksin did.

I could say I'm an optimist, in that my water bill and electric bills will stop arriving. That's pure optimism. The reality is that they come, and nothing changes apart from prices, and they keep coming - I must be living in a dream world of 'optimism', because you know it all, and I just can't fathom it out.

Old hats hey?

I used to like a lot of your posts, but you really are becoming one-way bent in your attitudes regarding other posters.

According to your posts you are not in favour of anyone or anything only YOUR electric bills ??

Keep wondering how long I have lived here---it is not YOUR BUSINESS.

Speak Thai nit noy or in Issan bo ow.

Tell the PM he is Quote "foolhardy" the mods will also not be impressed.

I support him as we do not have much choice and live in hope.

If he wasn't on the scene, or trying to clean up the dung you would say he is doing nothing---your rhetoric is sad, you have no confidence and as you say you are not happy-------choices mate.

You mean some posters that have a bad attitude regarding the PM.

You used to like a lot of my posts---I have not changed my stance----good governance, no second chances---you have changed mate, from bad governance to ante PM.

How do you know that they last government didn't do what they swore to do? How do you know that this government will? How do you know that this government will hold elections within a year?

You don't know any of these things, because your one and only source of information is the censored press.

Topic efficient and speedy problem solving, has been highjacked by the hate the PM posters.

Of the new guys adding their two pennies worth. coincidence-----look at their profiles---near all have nothing to show---no age---no country of birth--not telling---and a.n. other------their option but just a strange coincidence---longer term TVF members give some details---sort of inciting friendliness.

I can only speak about the effort to try to solve some problems That Thailand has, but the negatives on TVF are unreal.

All your posts refer to the PTP/Thaksin/Chalerm, etc - and you call the post 'old hat'.

Now there's a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

A yellow trait, if ever there was one.

Super ridiculous post. How do I know the PTP did not do ?? Tell me then their achievements ????------how do I know this government will--I do not just hope they can----- only the PM and elect com, will know when the time is right for Thailand at the box. cencered pres and here the PM is asking about complaints----strange how your censored press is working. I admit there are some press security ---but your taking to another level to suit your rhetoric. Have fun waiting a year to see what Thailand votes.

I answer more posts than I start so most with the three you mentioned are replies. Get in on the truth. OLD hat is the reference to JOC ante PM posts.

WE have to refer back to the previous non governing body to learn from their mistakes---JUST AS WE WILL HAVE TO DO AFTER THIS PM is not in charge and so on.

Ginjag.

I know from your posts you have very strong views on the present government. Now although I have lived here peacefully for 7 years I have not indulged myself in the minutia of previous governments -something you clearly have.

I don't know the General or what he's like. He might be a genuine Joe, but I have a fundamental opposition to military governments. You will not change, neither will I so I never pursue that with you.

However, the General's PR is awful and he needs to get a grip, or he will slide further into disrepute.

There is an example here in the OP. Last week we were advised by opinion polls that massive majorities of the people were 'happy' with the current situation.

Now the OP talks about trying to resolve the problems of the 'troubled' people.

It's that sort of drip feeding of contradiction that leads many posters to scepticism, which is reflected in the posts. Maybe it's in the translation but surely things can be proof read by someone with good English.

Who wants to employ a proof reader for our benefit ??? but I understand what you mean.

To my mind the Thais are more comfortable now than for a good while. There are problem areas that were inherited---south Issan etc. (troubled).

I am not super comfortable with military set ups, but I am not all doom and gloom like some on TVF posting to disrupt more than anything rather than just an opinion.

To everyones taste, but few are posting on other than PM topics which tell me it is not the norm---but as I say it is TVF and freedom to do that.

My views come over stronger because rarely do I post just a view it always is a reply to the doom and gloom brigade.

Living in red villages in Issan -then it is inevitable you get the grass root stuff.
