Hello,

Just looking through the requirements to sponsor my wife's 2 year spouse visa . I need to prove a gross annual income of 18600. I'm self employed in a partnership. Is my gross annual income my share of the business profits before tax + wages ( all from the same business) . Or is it just my share of the profits .

Thanks

Note that the visa isn't two years, it's 33 months.

After 30 months in the UK she applies for Further Leave to Remain, which lasts a further 30 months. At the end of that she applies for Indefinite Leave to Remain.

The financial requirement needs to be met for each application, but for the FLR and ILR applications your wife's earned income, if any, can be added to yours.

You may find UK settlement visa basics useful.
