If the guy is innocent?? Well yeah, but if he was innocent he would of submitted long ago to a DNA test.

Why ? Because some people don't believe him ?. This is not trial by media. I know that I would be real wary giving off my DNA to the Thai police who knows what happens with it. If there is no real good reason for it I would certainly never give of DNA to satisfy some internet group.

Who knows how convincing his real evidence was for being in BKK. The stuff you guys have not see. It is as if everyone thinks that they are entitled to all the evidence and know the same stuff as the police.

I have a police friend buddy (back in my birth country) he tells me that even there what is printed in newspapers is often far from what has actually happened. I find it amusing to say the least that people think they can do an investigation from behind their computer instead of having the real facts the police is privileged too.

I make no claims about this guy either way, but his reputation is toast either way. This will hunt them for a long time even if not guilty.

But many farangs hate rich Thais with a vengeance because then they cant feel superior. Admit it its much nicer if some HISO is guilty instead of some lowly worker. So there is prejudice too.

It has taken 6 weeks for this, whereas thousands of Burmese on Koh Tao had no choice and were forced to give DNA samples immediately without lawyers and press conferences. It goes without saying that the headman has total reassurances from the police that no match is possible. Note that he hasn't offered to give his son's DNA to British investigators to test in the UK. Whatever was inside the condom was apparently cleaned away leaving no DNA traces.

I was not on the island and I did not have any opportunity to examine any evidence but it looked as though things were on the right track. (see link above)

Then everything went south.

I have no evidence to support my views..... but seems to me as though the boss man got a call from higher up in the food chain and was told to look elsewhere.

So... alledged gay lovers were hatched.

Taxi drivers were threatened with violence if they did not fabricate evidence.

The 3rd suspect was forgotton.

Everything started to smell bad and it appeared to me that a coverup was in play. Apparently, many here felt the same.

And these 2 kids were fingered for the crime and everything was done and dusted.

The ridiculous re-enactment at the crime scene was what confirmed for me in my mind that it was all rotton. No way those boys were involved as accused. They had no idea what was going on and had to be pushed and prodded and guided all the way. It was a farce.

They may have been close by but I don't believe they were the murderers.

The actual murders, especially the girl...... was exceptionally violent. Almost all of this kind of brutality has in my experience been a result of serious drug use. Only rarely do you see this kind of brutality in rage or anger without the presence of large amounts of substances involved.

IMO, this crime was an act of extreme rage.

I have never heard of a murder so brutal from being a bit horny after having a few beers and deciding to cop a feel. (unless the perp was a complete psychopath... which is also very unusual.)

Why is he giving DNA, because he has been advised to by so by the friendly BIB - why, because if Hanna was raped or had consensual sex it is very possible he wasn't involved in the actual act and this is understood by the friendly BIB and they have advised this course of action - this will clear him in this regard, however if she wasn't raped or didn't have consensual sex he has nothing to hide - this of course only clears him with regard to engaging in any act of sex with the girl.

The match must be certain, JHJ has said so and he knows all - just ask, he isn't shy in telling you.

The only problem is that JHJ and a few others who are always sprouting "conspiracy" are in fact the the real conspiracy nuts - lets promote the conspiracy to set-up a couple of Burmese guys with a few bullsh1t stories, false info. lies, misinformation - we have nothing to do all day so we can spend all our time promoting the conspiracy to the non-believers - just think of the jollies we can get from it.

In fact what we know, is that there is some evidence to hold them, and basically them being illegal immigrants is sufficit - they will be prosecuted with that propably, even if no charges would be brought up regarding this case. The obvious secondary reason for detaining, of course, is to keep them from leaving the country(read: be deported back to Myanmar). I think the legal limit is 80 and some days, until they either have to prosecute or drop the case.

My gut feeling is (without any evidence to back me up) is that these boys cleared the DNA test on the first round .... because there were no perfect matches. Lots of results were on the same desk and nothing was perfect ....... so everybody was clear.

Then for whatever reason... honest or otherwise, these 2 came back on the radar and their DNA test was looked at again ...... and it was a bit 'on the fence'. DNA can be quite tricky ... many people think it is completely black and white. Not so.

So, it was decided in retrospect that it was actually a positive and they are toast. But in reality........ in court it would be tricky to convince a judge without reasonable doubt (especially with a robust defence) and so it was sent back yet again for more meat.

I think the only DNA match is between the cigarette butts on the beach and the 2 Myanmar guys, and they have already admitted they were on the beach. This is why the prosecutor keeps asking for more evidence - I have never read that they have a match between the Myanmar and from inside Hannah . Big man will have paid the local police to make sure that any DNA that is tested isn't actually from the son. There is no point in the Myanmar guys denying it if they did it, because they would know that their DNA was inside Hannah. Only the son of the big boss would rape and expect to get away with it.
