AnotherOneAmerican
OK chaps, just noticed this on tonight until 2 Nov. Not the big annual fair, I'm thinking (that usually happens later in November). But about 300m of stalls selling plants and agricultural stuff plus the usual food stalls. No advance advertising (as usual) but if you like plants or just a cheap day out, worth a look. Plenty of orchids and fruit trees on sale.
CMKiwi
AOA, where have they got this set up? In the University or somewhere else? I gotta be careful as last time the missus went a bit crazy and about 3 pickup loads of plants later and a few thousand baht lighter I managed to get her away from there. The pick question I ask her is, where are all those plants now? Oh they died cause she was too busy to look after them! But I still love her to bits
AnotherOneAmerican
It takes up most of the road in the Uni from the side entrance (old 1001), and a Soi off the side entrance. Drive up the main 1001 from CM, turn right onto the old 1001 at Maejo, then into the Uni entrance. DonaldBattles
Does anyone know if they will have small pond fish for sale. I am told that Maejo has a fisheries department. Can anyone confirm this.
AnotherOneAmerican
I saw 2 or 3 big fish tanks in the stalls, filled with goldfish. Don't know if the fish were for sale or not. There is an aquarium shop in the nearby market 'Ruai Chok' about 300m further down the 1001 on the right. All that does is sell pond fish. There are also 2 or 3 aquarium shops on the inside corner of the moat near the park. Edited October 30, 2014 by AnotherOneAmerican

Somnambulist
I want to thank the OP for the heads up. The wife and I went today and bought little soursop, cacao, coconut, mulberry, starfruit and pomegranate trees. I didn't keep track of the total cost but most were about 70 or 80 baht. Now to decide where to plant them...
