newcomer71
Is there anyone who knows where to find this item in Bangkok? I have a coffee moka from Italian maker Bialetti. I have now to change the gasket as it's worn due to use. I saw they sell on amazon, but nevertheless to say shipment costs and duties would make it stupid to buy it there. Here is a picture of the item: Thanks in advance to whoever can help me out!
namdocmai
Central Chidlom sells some products from Bialetti, but i don't know if they have that part. I guess not actually because they want you to buy a new one of course.
Chonburiram
That would be something what could fit in a letter. Let someone back home get it for you and send it with an ordinary letter. Maybe someone is desperate what he/she could give you for Christmas?
h90
Gasket, if I have a picture, I could make, maybe. But that doesn't help on the filter....
newcomer71
Thanks to everyone for your suggestion. I actually found the item online! I will post the link here if it's allowed so anyone else in my same trouble can enjoy a good coffee again! https://www.facebook.com/casamokacoffee
namdocmai
I hope they send you the right size because there are many different models. We have a Bialetti from stainless steel now but the old one from aluminium made stronger coffee. That one let bigger parts through which causes a layer of sludge in the cup. But our new Bialetti gives different results every day, don't know why. We use Douwe Egberts coffee from Foodland and also a scoop of Buisman burned sugar. That really gives the coffee an extra full flavour but maybe you guys don't know it. Edited November 5, 2014 by namdocmai
