Mountain Biking In Phuket

Featured Replies

We are a few expat lads living in Krabi - well into mountain biking and have pretty much exhausted the Krabi area. Does anyone know of any good long trails in Phuket? Varied would be great!

Thanks

Regular bike riding is normally road biking - sure its good for exercise but you can't beat the rush of a fast downhill through the jungle!

A ''good'' mountain bike will cost you upwards of B40,000, but you can get an adequate one for B18,000 ++. I have never heard of a foldable mountain bike, but lightweight, they are.

Hey Lob, there are plenty of mountain biking trails all over Phuket and Phang Nga Province. There is also the Phuket Mountain Bike Hash (Hash House Harriers). You can see what that's about at Bike Hash.

I've found a bunch of great riding spots near Phang Nga Town too.

Ciao for now...
