Boy do I miss that place. I have been to Japan, but that was before Google, so not sure how good the restaurants I ate at were. They were on the low end price-wise, so probably not that good. I found that the low end, mom and pop places in CA had the best food...the likes of 'Benihana of Tokyo' only have teppanyaki this and teriyaki that, tempura and sushi and no nabe stews, soba and etc, couldn't even get a decent bowl of miso soup fer christsakes...and the big chain restaurants are always 3 - 4 times the price as they are usually housed in 4 star hotels and etc...rubbish... never been to Japan, unfortunately... 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
