I gave up seeking a partner yonks ago for some simple reasons: I'm 67 years old, and no young, pretty Thai woman would be interested in me 'for love', and I don't exude dollar bills coming out of my sweat pores. I also couldn't be bothered dealing with the Thai BFs, STDs from him etc. An older woman may not have a BF, but she would only want me for a pay-out when I die, and in any case, what would I find attractive in a 50-60 old woman? (and her in me if not for the $$). Life is much (much!) better on my own. I get to do what I want, spend my money how I want, live where I want etc. Women realise that there is absolutely nothing they can do to persuade me otherwise (even the gimp suit wouldn't convince me). Some men don't seem to be able to function without the crutch of a woman (anatomically and psychologically!). I'm not one of them :)
