bangsaenguy
I have had many 4WD vehicles in the past and would like to know where all you Vigo 4WD and Fortuner drivers go to play in the mud, mountains, etc. I have been shopping for a new vehicle and just can't seem to justify buying a 4WD in Thailand as I do not know where to play. I am leaning toward a Prerunner.
terdsak_12
I don't think many of us go off road, scared of scratching it. There are several caravans, mostly with Thais who do the serious stuff, a Suzzy Jeep is best for that with some modifications of course. Kanachanburi has some good dirt tracks to play on, especially this time of year.

The fasion here for 4x4's seems to be just that, I was going to buy the new 4x4 triton but it was just to impractical as the nearest area is about 150 miles away, so i bouth the 2wd 4 door. I have seen a good club which i took a note of on my other computer. I'll go and switch it on.

pop3
Terdsak is right car's in general are so bledy expencive in this country we're all scared to scratch them, shame as I used to love off roading too but that was in a cheep range rover, not much chance of that here, I do some (mild) off roading tho, just go looking up dusty road's theres always somewhere but be very careful going alone, if you do get stuck it can be very nasty in this heat !
