November 14, 201411 yr Sorry think I posted in the wrong forum before... So I'm posting for my friend, he is Turkish. He can't go to Laos because they make it strict for Turkish passport holders these days and he needs to do this quickly. Is it possible to get an ED visa in Penang these days? How long does it take? If not possible, any ideas where he can go. He's gotta leave by Monday
November 14, 201411 yr Penang has changed their requirements to get the ED visa recently and want some additional documents. He should contact them to find out their requirements. Turkey does not appear on Vientiane's list of countries that cannot get a visa there. Where did you get info that it is hard for them to get a visa there.
November 14, 201411 yr Author Okay thanks, we will ask them what else is needed. My mate went to the Laos embassy in Bangkok to get a visa yesterday, they said they require air tickets in and out of the country for Turkish passport holders, and they also asked for a photocopy of his credit card (he doesn't have one).

I have asked Penang in the past week, both by phone and email, about the additional documents. No response.

Do a search for these terms. However I think they are asking that the school papers from MoE states a minimum of 8 hours a week attendance.
