Bike rental Chiang Mai to Pai

Hi there. I am looking to rent 2 motorbikes around December 20th for a ride to Pai from CM and back, 2 days rental. I am looking for comfort and safety over speed I guess, possibly around the 250cc range? Something enduro would be good and definatley do not want any kind of ninja style sporty bikes.

I have done this ride once on my own Lambretta so I know what to expect and if I can make it there and back safely on a 47 year old scooter it will be fine on something modern

I have read some horror stories about motorbike hire in CM with staff using spare keys to lift the bike with the renter having to cough up for a new bike so suggestions for honest decent companies providing good insurance would be appreciated.

Both of us have lived in Thailand for a long time, have Thai DL's and ride the roads daily on one form of machine or another, so again we know what to expect and how to ride safely.
