Suspension

Featured Replies

If a member is suspended, I know that he/she cannot post either on the forum or send PMs,. Can he receive PMs even though he can't respond to them?

From my vast experience, LOL, I could both send and receive PM's.

Its been so long I can't remember.

But in this instance I am sure you can berate....beg....or.....insult the mod concerned by PM or email to support.

God forbid anyone should just suck it up....where is the fun in that?

Not me, "this time", but have a friend that I "think" has been suspended and he hasn't replied to my PM. I know that you can PM a Mod but wasn't sure whether you could send to anyone else. The reason that I "think" he was suspended is that there was a inane post by someone he thinks is an idiot followed by a post by a Mod removing the next post for "berating" a member and a mod!.

One of the mods has confirmed that he is on holiday until tomorrow. Having him contact Thaivisa by email might actually increase his holiday time, or worse. I also have been advised that he can read, but not respond to PMs while he's on vacation.

When a member has his posting privileges suspended temporarily – which is only done for a valid reason – he can, after acknowledging the warning, continue to read the forum and receive and read PMs and reply to them.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
