I'm hoping to find a decent locksmith with a 'can do' attitude.

I've already tried the shop @ soi10/Thepprasit and Pattaya Lock & Safe kinda behind TukCom, to no avail.

All I need is some tumblers or barrel changed in a simple lock to match a key.

What you require is a Locksmith who can repin...

May be cheaper to buy cylinders "Keyed Alike" even more so if you have obscure or cheap locks as the pins may not be available for your locks.

Right. I need to keep the key & cylinder in lock 1 and install a compatible cylinder in lock 2.

Sounds easy, but....

The lady couldn't speak much English, but sure knew 'cannot."

I got the impression that she wasn't the main locksmith, so dunno.
