Have Restaurant posting rules changed?

Without offense to any Mods or in anyway a criticism to them, I can not see anywhere that says that you can only post information on restaurants unless it goes through 'JTs Hit & Run Restaurant review'???? is this a new policy or an attempt to gain more sponsors? I like to see/read information on new restaurants and don't want to have to troll through 30+ pages of posts with off topic info, food snob put downs and troll posts to find new places to eat that have been recommended by BMs. If its a new policy fine but seems to me a bit strange.

There never were restaurant posting or policy rules unless there were guidelines specific to a particular thread setup by the OP. Post what you like. The mods may wish to control duplicate threads.

This subject was reviewed today and OP notified via PM of decision and, as noted above, there are no changes to any specific rules about this issue.

Future open discussion of moderator actions or policies will not be allowed as that IS against the rules
