Pattaya spending 11 million baht to rebuild south end of Sukhumvit Road

Pattaya has received more than 11 million baht in funding to resurface Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya.

Inthana Construction Co. began work on the pothole-ridden, dilapidated highway between sois 69 and 75 Oct. 25. Work is scheduled to finish by the end of February.

During reconstruction, only two lanes are open for service. The construction will add another layer of steel-reinforced concrete plus asphalt, layered for strength and durability.

Why it only seems like 2 years since they last did it after 'working' on it for four years.

A stretch of merely 200 meters in 4 months.........will be a big bummer for the Highway Police who keep their weekly check-excercise in front of Soi 73
