Gonsalviz
11 to 1. After you get to BKK, since I do not know which part of BKK you are going, you are on your own.

wooloomooloo
It's not that bad. If the OP leaves early enough and puts his foot down he could be there by 5pm.

Popular Post khwaibah
The wheel chair brigade are dribbling from their mouths again. To the OP depending on the size of your bike it has and is done in under 8 hours, cars have been known to do this drive in 7 hours. If its a 125 may take you 12 hours. As for the rout its normally 11 to 1 to 32, check GE. Bikes are not allowed on 7 and 9 east of BK and bikes are not allowed on upper toll roads. These area will be signed in english. Have a safe an enjoyable trip. I don't ride a bike for physical reason but I sure do a seriously amount of driving through out Thailand. Driving is the the only way to see this country. Enjoy.

WinnieTheKhwai
Yes.. the rest was all exceptionally unhelpful.. As to the main route, you get to choose if you want it a little more scenic and challenging, or just want to get your head down and get to Bangkok ASAP. If a little more scenic then the slightly longer route is taking highway 11 to via Phitsanulok instead of staying on highway 1 past Tak. Both routes start out the same, get to the Superhighway 11 and ride to Lampang. In Lampang you choose to turn right on to Highway #1, or continue straight in the direction of Phrae on highway 11. Highway 1 vs 11 : On highway 11 you'll have many more options to stop along the way too, on highway 1 an obvious place to stop is Kamphaeng Phet, which is 10 minutes off the main highway and an interesting place to spend some time. (Some historical sites there.) Like the other helpful person said, not coincidentally also of the bovine persuasion, you only need to worry about roads you're not allowed on once you get to outskirts of Bangkok. As a rule of thumb, you're not allowed on tollways. So you just continue straight on into Bangkok. Try to time your trip so you don't hit Bangkok in rush hour. Briggsy
Remember big blue sign as opposed to big green sign signifies motorway restrictions. You won't meet this till Bang Pa-In in Ayutthaya province. I'm assuming you can't read Thai.
