Home and life is a solid place. I supported all their rice for a year (40,000bt) quite a few years back and last time I visited they had teachers from Phuket teaching the kids how to make dish washing soap out of common household chemicals and limes. I was raised 15 years in an orphanage in Germany and lived 3 years on the streets and still made it.

She will be fine and has a hell of character by thinking out of the box.

I am amazed the orphanage let the kid, a minor, make that decision.

Giving kudos to those who support the orphanage and how good the place is the decision to be adopted by a multimillionaire who will give the kid a rich western upbringing should have been taken by informed authotities.

Whatever KK's motives were, once the Authorities could establish a safe environment for the kid, it was a no brainer..... persuade the kid to go.

I had no idea who this Kim Kardashian was either when I read the story. I had never heard of her so I can understand an orphan in Thailand not knowing her also. Looking at her pics she just appears to be a bimbo with plastic tips and the largest rear end I have ever seen on any woman. Hideous.

As the kid's legal guardian, KK would have been able to sign the release forms allowing the kid to be filmed and be part of the TV show.

For those that don't know, this family has a TV show that is just about them. They need to make things happen in order for the show to stay successful; they get married and divorced, get pregnant, get a sex change (not kidding), endure trauma ("OMG, I broke TWO fingernails!") and so on. Unfortunately this garbage gets high ratings. I've never seen the show, but I already know too damned much about it because media slips this junk in as news. Headlines in the world news this past week had to do with KK's big bottom. And there is the great loop: someone in the media comments on them and that gives them the opportunity respond publicly, which is what their brand thrives on. Recently someone who married into the family said, at his wedding, that "this isn't a family, it's an industry."

Much admiration goes to the keeper of the orphanage for not coercing the kid for the sake of collecting a fee.
