ross163103
I've got all the documents needed for the extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai, but was curious if I can use the bank account if it's a joint account with myself and my wife. The money is in a fixed account and has been in there for many years. Does the account have to be in my name only? I searched the ThaiVisa forum for this topic but couldn't come across anything. Thanks in advance for any answers
ubonjoe
It has to be in your name only for 2 months on the date you apply.

jpinx
I saw it mentioned that the amount was doubled if in joint names, but I'm sure UbonJoe will be along shortly to correct me if I'm wrong
