We found her on facebook via her email address using a nickname listing herself as single. Later my friend`s wife wised up and changed all her details including photos and imagines, so it became impossible to track her any further online. BTW: the marriage did end up in divorce. I think the odds are better than you'd think at first glance. Most foreigners are fishing in the same small pool. There is a small subset of Thai women that have ever dated a foreigner, and a subset of that dates MANY foreigners. If you have such a big distrust in your partner I think it is better to stay single or look for a new partner. What these sponsors who come 1-3 times a year to Thailand expect?
