Hi guys.

Im looking for a dentist that makes dental bridges, but are not overcharging (seems impossible currently..).

Im hoping someone could give me some recommendations.

In Chiang Mai, i was offered a 5 unit bridge for 33000thb, but i did not have time to wait for the whole process,

and here in Bangkok, the lowest price i can find is 9000thb per tooth, + additional costs for service and what not..

With the currency exchange rate being as low as it is, 45-50K is a high price, and i have a lot of other things i need to pay for, as everyone else i assume ;-)

Any way, if you guys can be of help recommending a decent dentist, that is not too expensive i will be eternally grateful.

Its molars so i dont care about looks, only the function, hence i dont need some expensive design place for perfect natural reflection or something.. Just a cheap place that does a decent job..

Try one of the dental schools at Chula or Mahidol. Only dowside is the additional time required.

I started to go to mahidol a couple of years ago, it's about half the price of other decent dentists in Bkk. Near Vic monument and modern. Don't know about bridges but root cannal was 4k and crown 11k baht this year. Sure you can get cheaper if you want to risk it.

My girlfriend found a decent dentist in suksawat Rd, ratburana.

5 unit bridge, start price 30k for metal frame /ceramic.

Perfect.

let us know how it goes, I live near there but would not consider it myself.

Ok, here is first update on the local dentist experience in BKK.

The dentist speaks english, and is very good! Nobody else in the shop spoke any english, so bring your other half!

I have so far got a temporarely plastic bridge until the real permanent one is done in a weeks time.

Tomorrow i will go back for a fitting of the frame of the permanent bridge.

Very professional service, and good quality of work i feel.

Only drawack.. I have had a slight pain from the temporary bridge because its not been adjusted perfectly, because of the temp situaltion i just took a few pain killers and all is good.

Would i go again ? In a heartbeat! Great quality service, and great price. I will update after finished treatment.

The total cost of a5 unit bridge is 30K. + 3-400b for an x-ray.

Ok, its been a few days since i got my bridge completed. It feel and looks perfect.

I have to say i have been to the nice expensive clinics before around thaialnd, and here the quality and servie is equal to that.

So if you want to save 10k then go to ratburana, suksawat rd clinic ;-)
