smokie36
Best and easiest way is if they book through the Thai Airways own website. Then armed with the booking reference should be straightforward.

steelepulse
O/t, but, If they haven't already booked, consider another airline as the Thai planes are pretty tired for the most part and their business seats are way behind others, and generally more expensive.

My guess is they want to fly direct. That leaves only BA or EVA.

They are expensive, but it's probably better than they have flown before..

robertthebruce
I fly frequently ''Business Class'', with various Airlines, Mostly ''Thai Airways'' and ''British Airways''....... Both have various good points, but for me, its the ''Flat Bed'' that is important.. , Food and Beverages'' are my least concern.. If your parents do book ''Coach'', if you get the booking ref, just go to any ''Thai Airways'' office and you can upgrade simple enough.. if you choose , ''British Airways'' that can be done on line, simply enough.. I am sure they will love the added Luxury..
wooloomooloo
Maybe I'm missing something, but the OP is asking if he can get a free upgrade? If it was that easy we'd all be doing it.
