Issue?

Featured Replies

My retirement extension expires on 11 March. I noticed that the account on which I keep my 800.000 had only 798.000 Baht in it because a few months ago I carelessly withdraw a few thousand and forgot to top up.

I have topped up today. Will this be an issue?

I also have another account with the same bank that has enough funds in to make a total of 800.000

If your other account will have enough in it for 3 months to make up the difference when you apply you can use both accounts. You will need a bank letter for each account.

Thanks, so I understand that they will make an issue over a shortage of 2000 for about a week, if I was to use only a single account.

Will I need two letters even when both accounts are with the same branch?

They might be able to do one letter showing both accounts. If not 2 letters would be needed.

They have been known to refuse an application because the balance was below 800k for a one day by a few hundred baht.
