Interesting. My take on the vision is that bike rider was in the wrong. Seemed to be traveling too fast towards an uncontrolled intersection. Any rider knows to assume cars may do the wrong thing.

There is a STOP line on the road where the truck should have stopped, the motorcycle has no such stop line therefore his road crossing he does NOT have to stop he has the right of way.

Bikers fault!

It was a give way junction. Lines can be clearly seen on both roads. The car driver gave way, the proceeded when the junction was clear. The biker should have given way to the truck who was already on the crossing.

no they cant only on the trucks road, there is nothing on the bikers road

The video isn't clear enough, IMO, to definitely say whether or not there's a stop line on the bike's road - all I can see is a smudge but I don't think it's a stop line. In fact, there's no stop line on the pick-up's exit road and there don't appear to be any markings on on the camera car's exit road at all. Maybe all have worn out & not been remarked, as usual.

Commonsense & the Land Traffic Act (Post 90) tell roadusers to give way to vehicles already on a junction The pick-up was already on the junction - in fact, almost across the junction - so had RoW.

Check the video again - the truck DOES stop (brake lights are the clue) so that another car & scooter can cross his path.

Also, compare the speed at which other vehicles approach this junction with the speed of the scooter - he might have been 200 ft from the junction as the pick-up started to cross and therefore had plenty of distance in which to use his brain & slow down or even stop so that the idiot didn't end up in the bed of the pick-up.

The biker's 100% at fault - this from a biker of 40+ years experience who's very wary of cars , whichever country I ride in.
