Just asking for feed back from new and old users of this package.

My main questions are:

It advertisers HD reception but in Thailand not many placers can get that so if you can not get HD does that mean that channel is no longer available via standard transmision so your package programs are reduced but the price is not?

It looks to me it is on wi fi what is the drop off rate of the programmes via wi fi?

Can you still get the service with cable or does it have to be wi fi

What happens if you buy the 3 months and find your reception is crap or does the free one month cover this to tell if you are in a bad area.

Do you have to suppy credit card details b4 you finish the free one month just in case you can not get a good reception and have to send the box back

I've been with them since day one (and with a previous incarnation), absolute life saver, even works on fairly sluggish hotel connections in India (there's only so much cricket a man can watch).

The content is delivered over the internet, so long as you have a decent download speed (3Mbps or so) it works well, big buffer (15 minutes) on the archived programs, smaller (5 minutes) on 'live', so your live watching is delayed by 5 minutes. Not sure of the exact resolution (and you can zoom it to fit) but it looks ok on my 48"telly.

Sign up for the free trial and give it a shot.

Note, while it will work on 3G it will swallow your data allocation in double quick time sad.png

EDIT I'm using the PC based package (no box), try it with that, reception via the box is as good.

I like the English package on ilikehd. You only have to pay 350 Baht a month at a time and I've found the picture quality to be quite good with a little buffering at times but not enough to be seriously annoying. When I do get buffering, changing the server sometimes fixes it.

I'm with ilikehd but they have lost the Sky channels which means no cricket.

I've just had a look at Thai Expat TV and cannot see any sports channels.

Can you please advise what channel do they play the cricket on?

** Edit, I will sign up for the free trial and give it a crack, thanks.

If you're after decent sports coverage, Thai Expat Tv ain't for you I'm afraid.

365sport.tv is the sports equivalent of ThaiExpat.tv as far as I know?

Yep, pretty sure you're correct.

Unfortunately, they don't broadcast cricket either.

The search continues.
