I'm going to immigration for an extension of stay at Chang Wattana and I've printed my own TM7 form. However, it's printed on two pieces of paper rather than double sided - my gf failed to follow this simple order :). Would this be accepted or would I have to staple these together? If so I think I won't even bother taking my own.

My experience is that the TM7 has to be a single sheet printed on both sides.

    I can feel your GF's pain; always takes me 4 or 5 tries to get 2 sides printed correctly.
