With the death hotel in Chiang Mai, their solution was to demolish the hotel. But I think Koh Tao is too big to demolish...... Maybe we need a Tsunami who only was this bloody Island away. Better stay away from whole Thailand blame the whole corrupt justice system, this is the only way what could maybe change somethings. You can getting them only on their pockets. And no, they are not from Myanmar!! Reading your post, I thought about it. Maybe (just got this idea) some big Real Estate monsters behind it. Ruining the reputation of the island, wait until the land plot prices tumble down, buy whole areas and wait a few years in order to sell it after prices have risen again. (But I'm not a businessman, not an economic expert) Is an interesting theory, but in case and you are right then these ppl must be very close connected to the Island. Neutron bomb is not a good idea, caused this would only kill the ppl and would leave the Houses almost undemaged. And after a while would start the same system again only with other ppl.
